The aim of this course is to increase your competence and confidence in facilitation

• How facilitation differs from training or chairing a meeting
• What does facilitation look like?  The role of the facilitator
• Styles of facilitation
• The skills of a facilitator
• Facilitating in the classroom, at events and meetings
• Practice sessions with feedback
• Dealing with difficult situations
• Action planning

Style of the Course: The course is highly active and participative. During the workshop participants undertake activities, exercises and discussions to help them put what they learn into practice.

Course Length: Two day workshop 9.00 to 17.00 with an hour for lunch
